We are looking for a Team Leader for one of our stores on the outskirts of Brussels.
As a bakery store manager, you will be responsible for supervising the bakery team and ensuring the smooth running of daily operations. You will work closely with management to ensure product quality and customer service. You will also be responsible for ensuring that hygiene and safety standards are maintained at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train and mentor members of the bakery team.
- Plan work schedules and ensure that the team is adequately staffed.
- Monitor stock levels and place orders for ingredients and supplies.
- Ensure that hygiene, safety and food safety standards are applied.
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
- Work with management to improve procedures and optimise the bakery's efficiency.
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Perform administrative tasks such as schedule management, inventory management and report preparation.
Requirements:
- Fluent French and good command of Dutch (spoken).
- Fluency in English is an asset.
- Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in baking.
- Ability to lead a team and manage priorities effectively.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Flexibility regarding working hours, including weekends and public holidays.
